Biography

Claude M Foster was born on September 21, 1907 in Lockport, New York, United States, son of Claude M Foster (1885– ) and Harriet C Unknown (~1886– ).^{[1] [2]}

In 1910, Claude M (2) Fasten was in the household of Claude Fasten in Hamlin, McKean, Pennsylvania. ^[1]

In 1920, Claude M (12) Jr. was in the household of Claude W Foster in Bradford Ward 2, McKean. ^[3]

The 1930 Census indicates that Claud had married at age 18 (probably in 1926), but was now divorced. Claud (22) Jr. was still living in the household of his father, W Claud Foster in Bradford, McKean. ^[4]

In 1940, Claude (32) was in the household of Claude Foster in Ward 7, Olean, Olean City, Cattaraugus, New York. ^[5]

Claude (43) married Eleanor May Duggan (40) (born on May 29, 1910 in Bradford, McKean; daughter of William Hughes Duggan and Clara Serena Totten) in 1951.

Claude died 27 August, 1974 of burns suffered in a gas explosion in his home in Olean, New York, aged 66.^{[6] [2]}
