Note N503Henry Fox lived on or near his father's place in Richland District, South Carolina until about 1814, then he moved his family to Cocke Co., Tenn. After seeing a fight between two women at a public gathering, he move to Tuscaloosa County, Ala. and settled on the Sipsey River about 13 miles north of the city of Tuscaloosa about 1819.
Some of his children remained in Alabama, however several moved to Mississippi either with him or at a later date.
Henry and Sarah moved about 1835 to Choctaw Co, Miss near Slate Springs. He and his family were charter members of Bethany Baptist Church which was organized in 1836. Henry, Sarah and several of his children are buried in the family cemetery on his homeplace near Slate Springs, Miss.
