Biography

Lawrence F. Fox was the son of John and Catherine Fox, born on March 25, 1880 in Hocking County, Ohio. ^[1][2]

He married Margaret Schrader, daughter of William and Anna Schrader, on February 17, 1903. ^[3]

Inn 1918, Lawrence was working at the Hocking Valley Railroad as a "car carpenter." He and Margaret lived in Canal Logan in Hocking County, Ohio. ^[4]

He died on Jun 27, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio. ^[1][5] He is interred at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lockbourne, Ohio. ^[5][6]

Lawrence F. Fox

Requiem High Mass will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Columbus, for Lawrence F. Fox, 83, of 580 Third St. He died Thursday in St. Anthony Hospital where he was admitted seven days earlier.

He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, a member of the Holy Name Society, and a member of the Knights of St. John for 65 years. Before retiring, he was employed at Logan Clay Products Co.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Joseph Billingsley of Columbus; a son, Bernard F. Fox of Oregon, O., two grandsons and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at the Maeder Quint Parlors, 1068 S. High St., Columbus, after 7 p.m. Saturday. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Columbus. ^[5]
