On 3 March 1907 in Madisonville, Hopkins, Kentucky, 15-year old "Ivy Della Franklin" married Fred Harris. [1][2] They were the parents of twelve children.
At the time of the 1910 U.S. Census, Iva, age 18, lived in Dawson Springs, Hopkins County, Kentucky with husband Fred and daughter Ruby. [3] By 1920, they lived in Herrin, Illinois.
The 1930 U.S. Census places her in Chicago, Cook. Illinois, with Fred and their children. [4] The 1940 U.S. Census shows that Iva and Fred lived in Chicago with their four daughters. Fred was employed as a truck driver. [5]
"Ivy Della Harris" died, age 68. in Evergreen Park, Cook, illinois and was buried at Evergreen Cemetery and Mausoleum, Evergreen Park, Cook County, Illinois.
