William Burl Franklin was born in Alabama 11 Sep 1889[1][2] to William Franklin and Florence Reed.[3][4][5][6]
In 1917 when he registered for the draft during WWI he was described as living in Adger in Jefferson County, being married with two children and of medium height and build with gray eyes and brown hair.[2]
He married Ida about 1910[3][5] and the couple had the following known children:
William Earl Franklin was born in Alabama 09 Nov 1911, died 10 Mar 1913 in Jefferson County, Alabama and was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery.[7]
