Isaac Franklin was born in Avebury, Wiltshire, England.

Isaac Franklin was the son of Thomas & Bethia Franklin, baptised on 12 April 1801 at the parish of Avebury, Wiltshire, England. ^{[1] [2]}

Isaac married Sarah Shipman, alias Sims (1799-1870) at All Cannings, Wiltshire, England on 10 Feb 1823. ^[3]

Isaac and Sarah had nine children:
