Biography
Mr. Franz passed away on Monday, August 3, 2015 at the age of 74. Born on December 11, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH He is the son of August Franz and Helen Hammond. Thomas was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and Columbia Country Club in Blythewood. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and loved golfing. He enjoyed spending time with his wife on the boat.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Nancy; children, Carolyn Winters, Mark Franz, and Jane Schmitz; 2 grandchildren; brother, Ron (Maryann) Franz; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved doodle dog, Lily. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joanne Dietrich.
