Biography

[Note: A bit of confusion.....Alexander Fraser, deceased, is the father of Alexander "Og" or "Jr". Alexander "Og" or "Jr" married Ann Fraser, whose father is also named Alexander Fraser, called "Sr", and he, of course, has a son also named Alexander. The Alexander "Sr" below is Ann's father, the Alexander "Jr" is Ann's husband.]

The issue of Alexander Fraser were: Malcolm; ALEXANDER (OG); John (Red); Elizabeth (Red), and Ann. It seems that they removed from Pictou to Antigonish County.

ALEXANDER Fraser (Og) was married to Ann Fraser, whose sister was the wife of the pioneer, Kell, Neil, of Antigonish, and had issue:

• John married to Miss MacKenzie; two boys and one girl, all of whom are in the States.
• Angus married to Isabella Chisholm.
• Alex married to Miss Lochard, Tracadie.
• Colin married to Margaret Kennedy, Ashdale.
• Donald married in Tracadie, a son of his lives in Mulgrave.
• Catherine married to Raymond Keating, Mulgrave.
• Betsey married to Moses Somers, Antigonish.
• Catherine married to John MacDonald, North Side Harbour.
• Mary married to Hugh Chisholm, Tracadie.
• Ann married to W. J. Grant.

[Note: Alexander's wife Ann's sister Abigail was the wife of the pioneer, Kell, "Angus". Neil was their son, who was married twice, to Mary Ann Thompson, who died in 1866, and then to Ann MacDonald.]
