Watson Freeman was born in 1739, the son of Capt Watson Freeman and Sarah Gray of Harwich. He was baptized Feb 25, 1739^{[1] [2]}

He married first ?

On March 18, 1762, he married Thankful Freeman his second wife, daughter of Benjamin Freeman and Sarah Dillingham of Harwich^{[1] [2]}, and their children included:

1. Watson, born December 28, 1762, who married Sarah Hinkley and Experience Freeman^{[1] [2]}
2. Joshua, baptized July 12, 1764^{[1] [2]}, who died young
3. Edward, baptised July 31, 1768^{[1] [2]}, who died young

Watson died before 1777, when his wife remarried^[1]
