Samantha Fuller was born on September 8, 1794, in Argyle, New York to Varsell Fuller and Mary Crowell. She married Thomas Hopkins (1790-1880) in June 1813 in her hometown. She died on September 18, 1887, in Sodus, New York, and was buried in South Sodus Cemetery, Wayne County, New York. Her epitaph reads "Wife of Thomas Hopkins, Aged 92 years and 10 days".
