Sallie Fuller Felts grew up near Fort Mill, South Carolina. Her father's property lay partly in York County, and partly in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
She was born in 1846.[1] Her mother died within a year or two, and her father remarried in 1848.
She married Frank Felts in June 1862, and he joined the 6th South Carolina Infantry in July. After the war ended in 1865, the family remained about 4 years in York before moving to Independence County, Arkansas.[2]
Sallie died in 1915 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where she is buried at Greenwood Cemetery with her husband and several children and grandchildren.[3]
