Biography

Johann was born in 1657. Son of Melchior Fässler and Verena Küng. Since earlier and later generations were born and died in Schmalzgruben, Iberg, Canton Schwyz, Switzerland, (present day Schmalzgruben, Unteriberg, SZ, CH) assume that Johann was born there too.^[1]

Johann married:

• 1) Margaretha Trachsler in 1663. They had one child together. Margaretha passed away. (One source gives dod as 1674, but this is most likely in error as Johann was remarried to his 2nd wife by then. - pq)
• 2) Anna Meyer in 1673. They had 2 children together. Anna died in 1695 in Iberg.

Johann passed away in 1706 in Schmalzgruben, Iberg, (present day Schmalzgruben, Unteriberg, SZ, CH).
