Appoline Félicie Beauduin was born on 15 July 1844 at Bosquel (Somme). She was the daughter of Adolphe Beauduin, weaver, and Mélanie Dulermez.[1] In 1865 she was a weaver and lived with her parents at Namps-au-Val.[1]
She married Clovis Scotté, carpenter, on 12 June 1865 at Namps-au-Val. The witnesses were Denis Benjamin Beauduin, farmer, 47, uncle of the bride and Pierre Stanislas Buquet, 56, her great-uncle.[1]
