Marie Henriette Gagnon was born on October 24, 1832 in L'Isle Verte to Alexandre Gagnon and Sophie Michaud. She was baptized the same day. Her godparents were Eusèbe Gagnon and Henriette Morin[1].
She married Jean Théotime Sirois on October 19, 1847 in Trois-Pistoles[2]. They had thirteen children:

Marie Mathilde Sirois born April 26, 1851 in Les Escoumins[4]
Marie Arthemise Sirois born September 25, 1858 in Chicoutimi[6]
Anthime Sirois born August 2, 1860 in Trois-Pistoles[7]
Marie Virginie Sirois born February 19, 1863 in Lévis[8]
Marie Rose Delina Sirois born August 7, 1864 in Lévis[9]
Montcalm Philéas Eugène Sirois born June 18, 1868 in Chicoutimi[10]
Joseph George Sirois born January 27, 1870 in Chicoutimi[11]
Marie Emilie Sirois born August 16, 1872[12] and died September 11, 1872 in Lauzon[13]
Marie Henriette Sirois born August 4, 1874 and died August 7, 1874 in Lauzon[14]
Joseph André Rosario Sirois born August 28, 1875 in Lauzon[15]
In 1861, Anthime and Henriette were living in Trois-Pistoles with their children: Géraldine, Matilda, Ernest, Napoléon, Arthémise, and Antime[16].
By 1871, they had moved their family to Lauzon. Their household consisited of Antime, Henriette, and their children: Ernest, Napoléon, Mathilda, Arthémise, Antime, Délina, Eugène, and George[17]
Anthime died on January 30, 1888 in Trois-Rivières at the age of sixty-one. He was buried on February 2, 1888[18].
Henriette was living in Trois-Rivières during the 1891 census with her children Ernest, Antime, Moncam, and André[19].
Henriette died on October 29, 1907 in Trois-Rivières at the age of seventy-five. She was buried the next day[20].
