Biography
Ebenezer Gaines was born about 1790 at Granville, Hampden, MA, the second son of Samuel and Elizabeth Gaines of Granville.[1] He married Anne Blakesley, daughter of Samuel Blakeskey of Harland, CT, on 05 Nov 1811 [2]. They moved to Maryland, Otsego, NY, where he engaged in farming until his untimely death in 1826 at the age of 35. [3]
