Robert Gene Galbreath was born on March 25, 1952, the son of Floyd & Winifred Galbreath.
His hometown was Winchester, New Hampshire, USA.
Robert joined the United States Army, serving with 1st Aviation Brigade, 7th Squadron, 1st Cavalry, A Troop during the Vietnam War as a Specialist Four. He began his tour on June 28, 1971.SP4 Gilbreath was killed in action on February 25, 1972 in Nihn Thuan, Vietnam.
Robert is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Wall of Faces, Panel 2W, Line 110.

N.H. MAN KILLED Winchester, N.H. (AP) - Army Spec 4 Robert Galbreath, 19, of Winchester has been reported killed in action in Vietnam. The Defense Department, in a message to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd, Galbreath, said he was killed in a helicopter crash Friday. Galbreath is the first serviceman from Winchester to die in the war and the state's first 1972 fatality in the Indonesia conflict. New Hampshire has lost 238 men in the war.
