Sarah (Gales) Medd was born in Whitby, Yorkshire, England.

Sarah Gales was born in the fourth quarter of 1846 in Whitby, Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom [1][2] and baptised Sarah Margaret Gales on 10 December 1846 Whitby, Yorkshire the daughter of Bennison Gales & Theodora. [3]. Her parents were Bennison Gales and Theodosea Taylor [4].

In 1861 she was living at East Heslerton, Yorkshire, England. [5].

She married Robert Medd on 13 February 1867 at Whitby, Yorkshire North Riding [6]. Together they had 3 children:

  1. Theodosia [7],
  2. Benison [8],
  3. Theredore [9].

In June 1869 she was living at Park Villas, Henrietta Street, Burly, Kirkstall when her son was born [10].

In 1871 she was living with her parents at Ruswarp, Yorkshire, England. [11].

In 1881 she was 34, married and living with her father at Ruswarp, Yorkshire,Yorkshire North Riding, England employed as a Lodging House Keeper [2].

In 1891 she was head of household at Doncaster, Yorkshire, England [12].

In 1901 she was living as head of household at head Doncaster, Yorkshire, England [13].

She died about 1903 in [14][15].
