Wallace Leslie Galeucia was born on 2 March 1894 in Peabody, Essex County, Massachusetts to Charles Curtis Galeucia and Mary Jane (Carter) Galeucia.[1][2][3]

He enlisted as a Shipfitter 1st Class in the United States Navy on 26 June 1917 in Pelham, New Hampshire, and was discharged on 24 June 1919.[1]
He married Emily Meta Dierig Hall on 5 July 1923 in Methuen, Essex County, Massachusetts.[5][6]
In 1930 he was living with his wife, Emily (31), and step-son, Karl (10), in Pelham, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.[7]
In 1940 he was living with his wife, Emily (41), and their children, in Reading, Reading, Middlesex County, Massachusetts:
