PFC Ernest Gamelin Jr. was Killed   in Action during the Vietnam War.
  


Ernest Ulric Gamelin, Jr. was born in New Hampshire on November 3, 1948 to Ernest Gamelin (1921–1969) and Cecilia Ouellette Gamelin. (1920–2004)

His last known address was Suncook, New Hampshire.

Ernest entered the United States Army, serving with 1st Infantry Division, 2nd Battalion, 28th Infantry, B Company. He was a Private First Class.

Ernest was killed in action on October 23, 1968 in Binh Long, Vietnam.

He was a recipient of both the Silver Star and Bronze Medal Stars.

PFC Ernest Ulric Gamelin, Jr. is memorialized on the Vietnam Veterans Wall of Faces, panel 40 W, line 24.

Burial

St. John Baptist Cemetery, Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA.
