Biography

Sarah was born on 10 July 1852 in New Ipswich, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire.^[1] She was the daughter of Charles Gardner and Sarah Williamson.

At some point, Sarah either traveled or emigrated to Lancashire, England, where she met and married George Dunnington on 6 June 1872 in St John, Deansgate, Lancashire.^[2] After their marriage, they emigrated to New Hampshire, where their first son was born, then to Braintree Massachusetts.

Together, George and Sarah had the following children:

2. Charles Gardner Dunnington (b. April 23, 1875)^[5][6][7]
3. George William Dunnington (b. 6. October 1876, d. 26 July 1877)^[8][9]
4. Herbert Earl Dunnington (b. ~1878)

Her husband, George, died of a cerebral hemorrhage at age 51 on 10 Aug 1900 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Sarah died at the age of 58 on 16 September 1910 at Manchester, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.^[13][14] She is interred at Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire,^[1]
