In the late '60s, a lady who was then secretary of the Fort Worth Genealogy Society compiled a lengthy lot of manuscripts on the McCarty and related families. Her name was Helen Evalyn "Sally (Kingsley) Rucidlo. On of her sources for oral history and such was your ancestor Bertha Cappleman Williamson. On her death in 1979, Mrs. Rucidlo's husband donated her papers to the FWGS and that group had them microfilmed into a three roll set. I know that the Fort Worth library has these for viewing as well as other libraries (Odessa is one.) If you get an opportunity, you might want to view these microfilm sets for the stories about your ancestors.
