Biography

Birth: Mar. 21, 1942 Alabama, USADeath: Feb. 22, 2016 Alabama, USA Charles Wayne Garmon passed away Friday, February 22, 2016 at the same hospital he was born in. You would have never known of all the various health issue he had. Like the energizer bunny, he took a licking and kept on ticking. As cantankerous as he was he had a heart of gold and would do anything for his friends and family. 

He was preceded in death by his wife Kay, his father Walter Charles, his sister Linda Jo Garmon Rankin, and his in-laws Bill & Polly Burgett. 

He is survived by his mother (who is 96 and a picture of health), his son and daughter. 

A casual graveside service will be held at Crestwood Cemetery, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The family will provide lunch at his favorite restaurant; Capeside Fish Company.    Family links:   Parents:   Walter Charles Garmon (1919 - 2003)    Spouse:   Sherry Kay Burgett Garmon (1943 - 2006)*
