Most records indicate her maiden name is Garner, but the newspaper article for their 50th wedding anniversary, shows her maiden name as Bessette. This could be her mother's maiden name. Some show her parents as Charles Gamelin & Clothilde Bessette, but I have not found any sources materials for this connection. If anyone has sources, please add.
