Biography
David was born in 1879.[1]
He married four times in his life.
David married the widow Fanny Laura Starr on 7 July 1908[2] when she was 30 and he was 28 years old.[3] They married in Wellington, New Zealand.[4]
By 1910 the marriage between Fanny Laura and David seemed to be in trouble as Fanny Laura put a notice in the paper declaiming any and all responsibilities for David's debts.[5]
In 1913 David brought proceedings to dissolve their marriage against Fanny Laura on the grounds she was a habitual drunkard. The judge noted that Fanny Laura was 32 when she married David in 1910.[6] The court granted a decree nisi[7] which was made absolute three months later.[8]
He passed away in 1955.[9]
