Biography
Elizabeth Garner was born in about 1830 in Trentham, Staffordshire.
Elizabeth married Thomas Ansell in 1849 in Chebsey, Staffordshire. [1] [2]
By March 30th 1851, they were living in Chebsey, Staffordshire; Thomas was a rail labourer. His 6-year-old cousin Abigal Shaw was in the household on census night. [3]
Their daughter Eliza was born in 1852 in Stone district. [4]
Their daughter Ann was born in 1854 in Atherstone district. [5]
Their daughter Elizabeth was born in about 1857 in Atherstone district. [6]
The family emigrated to Victoria, Australia on the Phoenix, arriving in November 1857. Thomas' occupation was recorded as coachman. [7]
Their daughter Martha was born in 1865 in Taradale, Victoria. [8]
