Charles was born in Paddington, New South Wales, Australia in 1877. He is the son of Hugh Garner and Emily Finnie. [1]

He married Emily Jane Tedman in Randwick in 1904. [2]

They had 7 children.

He passed away in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia in 1961. [3]

He was buried at Rookwood General Cemeteries Reserve Trust, Rookwood, Cumberland Council, New South Wales, Australia. [4]
