Isaac Gaskins left a will dated 22 October 1709, in which he named two sons - Isaac and Samuel.[1]
"THIS INDENTURE made the thirteenth day of March... in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty Between Joseph Ingram and Frances Linah his wife of the County of Prince George of the one part and Bartholomew Dameron of the County of Northumberland of the other part where as Isaac Gaskins grand-father to Frances Linah Ingram Partie to these presents did by his last will and testament in writing bearing date the 22nd day of October 1709 give and devise his land to his two sons Isaac and Samuel in these words my will is that my land be equally divided between my two sons Isaac and Samuel to them & their heirs forever My son Isaac having his first chois and whereas Isaac Gaskins son of the aforesaid Isaac Gaskins and father to the said Frances Linah
departed this life leaving noe other child but the said Frances Linah...."
