Marie-Clémentine Gaudreau was born on 16 September 1828 in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud of Benoît Gaudreau and Marie-Régis Gendreau. She was baptised there on the same day. Her godparents were Charles Bouchard and Marguerite Gaudreau.[1]
She married Marc Blais on 25 September 1851, also in Saint-Pierre-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud.[2]
At the moment of her husband's death in 1869, the couple lived in the Saint-Paul-de-Montminy Catholic mission.[3] At the time of the 1901 Canada census she was listed as living with her son Théophile in Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire.[4]
She died on 17 June 1912 in Sainte-Euphémie-sur-Rivière-du-Sud, where she was also buried two days later.[5]
