Biography

Julia Mary Geary was born on 5 January 1830, in Roane, Virginia, United States to Mathew Geary and Elizabeth Ashley. [1]

In the 1850 census Julia (age 19) was shown living in the home of her parents Mathew Geary and Elizabeth Ashley in Kanawha, Virginia, United States.[2]

Julia married Jacob Young on 17 October 1850 in Kanawha County, Virginia.[3]

Julia died on 20 December 1896 and was buried in Conley Cemetery, Kanawha County, West Virginia, United States [4]

Funny and I wonder how it became Gary as I checked my database from which the GEDCOM was made and it is Geary there.......so, I changed it. Thanks for alerting me.
It looks like Julia's maiden name may have been "Geary" instead of "Gary". The father linked to her on FAG is "Matthew Geary". Her marriage record uses "Geary". It's used on several children's birth and death records. Something to look into further.
