Emma (Gelling) Garnett was born in the Colony of Victoria (1851-1900)
Emma Gelling was born in 1870 in Buninyong, Ballarat, Colony of Victoria, daughter of Thomas Gelling (1843–1896) and Emma Cowell (1842–1934). [1]
Emma (19) and William Garnett (24) were married on 11 October 1890 in Queensland, Australia [2]. Their known son was John Phillip Garnett (15 January 1894 – 6 October 1951).
Emma died on 9 August 1900 in Charters Towers, Colony of Queensland, aged 29 [3]. She was buried in Charters Towers Monumental and Lawn Cemetery, Queensland, Australia (plot: LYND, Section 31, Plot 441, Grave # 1406).[4]
