Biography

Eiline was born on 20 Oct 1922 in Crystal City, Jefferson, Missouri, USA. Her parents were Silas Louis Gendron and Helen Lamure.

Eiline joined the Women's Army Corps 22 Oct 1943 and was discharged on 10 Apr 1946. She served as HQ Supply Clerk at 2nd Signal Service Bn, Washington, DC.

She was charged with requisitioning in bulk. and issue office materials for assigned personnel. She also checked incoming & outgoing supplies against invoices and requisitions. Then tabulated and posted data in unit record books. She did simple administrative tasks and answered the phone.

Eiline married Woodrow Edward Boyer shortly after her military service. on 7 Nov 1946.

Eiline (Gendron) Boyer passed away 10 Aug 2009. She was buried at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Crystal City, Jefferson County, Missouri, USA.
