Biography
Lewis Leo was the son of Agnes and Nicholas Gestro.
He enlisted WWII - rank Private - NZEF, serial no 452199.
Lewis married Joan Marriott at St Pauls in Wellington and they had 3 children born in the marriage.
In the 1940's, he worked as an Engineer and then as a Mechanic. By the 60's, he was employed as a Salvage Contractor.
Lewis died at Wellington age 59 and is buried at Makara Cemetery, Wellington in the Soldiers Section
