Biography
Elizabeth Gibbs was born April 8, 1717, the daughter of Thomas Gibbs and Joanna Swift of Sandwich, Massachusetts[1][2][2]
On September 18, 1736, she married Samuel, the son of Samuel Maxim and Hannah Perry, in Rochester, Plymouth, Massachusetts[3][4][2][5]. Their children included[6]
Elizabeth was alive when her husband's estate passed probate, and guardianship of the minor children was confirmed in 1762[10]. According to "The Maxim-Maxham-Maxam Family" in TAG, vol 57, Oct 1981 p. 212, written by John Leppman, Elizabeth d. 17 Sep 1791 in Wareham.
