Malena was born 26 Jan 1877 in the Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, the daughter of Ruben Gibson and Nicey Waters. Malena passed away 30 Apr 1962 at Hughes, Oklahoma. She is buried at the Rock Creek Cemetery, Hughes County, Oklahoma.[3]
