This profile is part of the Gilbert Name Study.
A baptism for Clere has not been found so she is assumed to have been born after her parents were married in 1578.
Clere Gilbert was named in her father's Will made on 27 Feb 1607 and proved on 2 May 1609.[1]
Clere married first Robert Newton at Mickleover on 8 May 1609.[2] Robert was visited by sickness on 1 Aug 1619 and wanted her to be his sole executrix.[3]
Clere Newton married John Berrisford at Mickleover on 8 Apr 1626[4]
