Biography
John Gordon Gilfillan died by drowning in Lake Rotorua. In his will he left all his property to his sisters: Georgiana Jones Allison; Mary Murray Thompson Gilfillan; and Sarah Saint Clair Gilfillan. No mention was made of a wife or children.
