Carrie M Gillespie was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Self, Blount County, Alabama for the April 23, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1894 in Alabama and single. She was a farm laborer on a home farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Olliver P Gillespie, wife Martha E Gillespie, daughter Alma L Gillespie, daughter Lilly B Gillespie, son Clarance P Gillespie, son George D Gillespie and boarder (son) Lattie H Gillespie.^[1]

Carrie Gillispie was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at Warrior Road, Selfs, Blount County, Alabama for the January 30, United States Census, 1920. She was noted as born 1894 in Alabama and single as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Martha E Gillispie and son William I Gillispie.^[2]
