Biography
Born in 1794 to 1796 the son of George Gilley and Mary Wilson. He may have married Mary "Polly" Abbott in 1822. Some reseachers say he married Mary Polly Gilley, a cousin, daughter of Charles Gilley and Elizabeth Unknown. It is unclear which he married and or had children with listed below in the 1850 Census.
