Biography

Richard, son of Jeremiah Ginders and Ellen, was born in 1836 and baptised in 1836 in Stone, Staffordshire, England.^[1]

In the 1841 census Richard (age 5) was at Brick House, St Mary & St Chad, Stafford, Staffordshire, England.^[2]

In the 1851 census Richard (age 15), Banker's clerk, was the unmarried lodger of Elizabeth Hawkins on Upper Brook Street, Rugeley, Lichfield, Staffordshire, England.^[3]

Richard's marriage to Sally Roden was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1860 in the Shifnal district Shropshire.^[4]

In the 1881 census Richard (age 45), Bank accountant, was the married head of household at 109, Birchfield Road, Handsworth, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England.^[5]
