Grace Glascoke was baptised on 18 March, 1607/8, at St Mary the Virgin Church, Farnham, Essex, England.[1]
Grace was the daughter of Henry Glascock,[1] of Harte Shewbery (Hartishobury), Farnham, Essex, and his wife, Margery Fitch, the sister of Sir William Fitch, Knt.[2]
One of ten children, Grace's three brothers and six sisters were:[2]

Elizabeth Glascock, living in 1634,[2] aka Glascoke, baptised 13 March, 1614/5, at St Mary the Virgin Church, Farnham, Essex;[9]
Mary Glascock, living in 1634,[2] aka Glascoke, baptised on 2 October, 1616, at St Mary the Virgin Church, Farnham, Essex;[10] and

Edward Glascoke, baptised 20 March, 1621/2, at St Mary the Virgin, Farnham, Essex;[13]
Tho Glascoke, baptised on 29 July, 1623, at St Mary the Virgin, Farnham, Essex.[14]
On 7 May,1629, a marriage licence issued by the Bishop of London's Office for Edmund Slater, gent, of Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire [Slaughter of London[2]], widower, aged 30, to marry at St Benet, Paul's Wharf, London, Grace Glascocke, of Farnham, Essex, spinster, aged 21, daughter of Henry Glascocke, gent, of same, who consents, .[15]
