Obit: HOT SPRINGS -- Judy Glasscock Kolafa, 76, of Hot Springs, died Saturday at National Park Medical Center at Hot Springs.
She was born Aug. 27, 1928, at Pine Bluff, a daughter of the late Joseph Welldon Glasscock and Mary Satterwhite Glasscock.
She was reared and received her early education at Pine Bluff, where she attended the Annunciation Academy and graduated from Pine Bluff High School in 1946.
She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone at West Memphis and retired as assignment office supervisor in 1985, after 25 years of service.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was also a member of the Altar Society at St. Mary's at Hot Springs.
She was a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Southwestern Bell Telephone Pioneers, Red Cross, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program and Hot Springs Women's Welcome Club. She also volunteered at National Park Medical Center.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, J.W. Glasscock; and a sister, Lula M. Smith.
Survivors include three sons, Raymond Albert Kolafa Jr., of Arnold, Mo., Thomas Joseph Kolafa of Royal and Allen Brown of Lexa; two daughters, Katherine Ann Hinshaw of Ratcliff and Candyce Creamer of Hot Springs; one sister, DeeDee Hinshaw of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
