Jacob Glazener was an Appalachian.

Jacob Glazener was born in 1762 in Maryland, son of Johannes Glazener (1732 - 1812) and Eva (Martin) Glazener (1730 - 1814).

His siblings were:

  1. Johannas Glentzer ( - )
  2. George Isaac Glazener (~1755 - ~1828)
  3. John Glazener (1765 - 1833)

Jacob married Ruth Durbin (~1769 - 1846). Their daughter was Nancy (Glazener) Dickerson (1796 - 1882).

Jacob died on 14 Jan 1853 in Cadiz Township, Harrison, Ohio, USA aged ~90. He is buried in Dickerson Church Cemetery, Cadiz, Ohio.
