Born in Rumford, Oxford, Maine on 6 Jan. 1883, Augusta Maria Glines, daughter of David B. and Catherine B. (Goddard) Glines. Married John L. Howe of Rumford on 1 Jan 1860. They lived in Rumford, where he was a farmer and had four children.[1]
