Richard was born about 1550. He held his First Court in Shouldham Thorpe on
10 April 1566.[1] "Thomas Gawsell and Richard Godbold, held their first court on April 10, An. 8 Elizabeth..." (She was Queen of England and Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death in 1603).
A Deed of Release was recorded between between Jasper Blake & Richard Godbould during the years 1587-88 in Norfolk, England. See attached document.
In 1612, he was a trustee for the Titleshale Manor in Holme- Rungton, Norfolk, England.[2]
"...in the 9th of James I. Richard Godbould, of Fincham, was a trustee for it..." (24 March 1603 until his death in 1625.)
His will was dated 27 January 1613 in Fincham, Norfolk, England. He passed away in 1613 and was buried 26 September 1613 in Fincham, Norfolk, England. NOTE: I have not been able to find his mother or father.
