Biography

Jonathan Godfrey was born 28 Oct 1720 in Hampton, New Hampshire, to Jonathan and Mehitable (Blake) Godfrey[1] . He married Elizabeth Lamprey, daughter of Benjamin, on 3 Oct 1749 in Rye[2].

Jonathan and Elizabeth (Lamprey) Godfrey had the following children:

  1. Elizabeth - b. 2 Mar 1750[3].
  2. Sarah - b. 13 Oct 1751[3].
  3. Mary - b. 13 Apr 1754[3].
  4. Jonathan - b. 13 Mar 1756[3].
  5. Mehitable - b. 9 Jan 1758[3].
  6. Isaac - b. 18 Jan 1760[3].
