Biography
Sarah was baptised on 13 March 1859 at Clifton, Bedfordshire, the daughter of John and Hannah Godfrey.[1] 1858.
In the 1871 census she was living with her parents in Clifton - John Godfrey Head marr 35 Copralite labourer b Clifton; Hannah Godfrey wife 34 b Henlow; Samuel Godfrey Son 15 b Henlow; Serah Ann Godfrey Daughter 12 b Clifton; Arthur Godfrey Son 9 b Clifton; Ann Godfrey Mother widow 61 b Stanford.[2]
She married Ephraim Leggett on 27 Oct 1878 at Clifton, ages 20 and 24, fathers John Godfrey and George Leggett.[3]
