James Allen Goettee was born on March 12, 1891 in Estill, Hampton, South Carolina, United States, son of Caroline Elizabeth Gill (1859–1924).[1]
James served in World War I. [2]
His son was James Allen Goethe (1918–1965).
James died on June 28, 1962 in Jacksonville, Florida, United States, aged 71. He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.[3]
