Private William Golden served with 1st Regiment, Hunterdon County Militia, New Jersey Militia during the American Revolution.
William was enlisted in Capt. Tucker's Company, 1st Reg't, Continental Army, and was captain of the militia after the war ended.[1][3]
The DAR lists his service under Capt. Joab Houghton, Col. Isaac Smith, 1st Reg't., Hunterdon Co. Militia; and also that he furnished material aid. [4]
