Bessie Frances Goodson was born 7 Oct 1890 in North Carolina. She was the daughter of John Sidney Goodson and Julia E. Lawings.[1] She married John Phillip Drum (1886-1962) on 5 May 1907 in Catawba Co., N.C.[2] Their children were Flossie Mae, Leonard Robert, Hattie M., Charlie Odus, Louella, Ernest Clyde, Warren Calvin, George Sidney, Lorene, and Lucille.[3] [4] [5] The family farmed in Catawba Co. John died in 1962. Bessie passed away on 15 Sep 1974 in Hickory, Catawba Co.[6]
