Birth Sophia was born in 1864. Daughter of Henry Holland Widdowson Goodwill and Elizabeth Jane nee Jones

At Mount Gambier, on the 20th instant, Mrs H. H. W. Goodwill of a daughter. ^[1]

Marriages Sophia first married Thomas H. Jones in 1886 at Medindie, South Australia (Marriage registered NSW)

Her second marrige to Joseph Francis 1895 in Broken Hill, New South Wales

Death She passed away in 1914.

On Thursday last Mrs Sophia Francis, wife of Mr Joseph Francis, of Ballarat Row, passed away at her husband's residence after a long illness at-the age of 50 years. Mrs Francis was born at Mt Gambier and came to Moonta 24 years ago, where she had since resided. There are left a husband and large family to mourn their sad loss. The funeral took place on Friday afternoon. ^[2]
